This is the required course for real estate salespersons, which consists of a 63-hour program of Florida real estate law, real estate principles and practices, and real estate mathematics. Successful completion of this program and submission of the state application qualifies you to take the Florida State exam.

Requirements for Real Estate Salesperson

  • You must be at least 18 years of ageHave high school diploma or General Education Diploma (GED)Complete and pass the state approved 63 hour coursePass the state examination with 75% or above
  • You do not need to be a Florida resident or U.S. Citizen
Testing Procedures for Real Estate Salesperson License

The state of Florida takes about 4-6 weeks to process applications.

To expedite the process, it is recommended that your application be sent in to the prior to taking our course. However, applications may be sent in during or after the course.

Once you have mailed in your notarized application, fingerprint card and fee of $152, upon approval, you may then write your exam. The exams are administered by an independent test vendor (ASI). ASI has multiple locations in major metropolitan areas. Exams will be administered using a (touch screen) computer. ASI charges an examination fee of $31.50. They will notify you immediately at the exam site of your passing the exam.

School Policies


The end-of-course examination cannot be given to any student who has absences of more than 8 classroom hours. It is important that you check with your instructor, or the administration office, if you miss more than 8 classroom hours.

You may repeat the course at no additional tuition charge within one year of the start date of your original class.
