This is the required course for real estate broker, which consists of a 72-hour program of Florida real estate law, real estate principles and practices, real estate mathematics, closing statements and escrow account reconciliation. Successful completion of this program and submission of the state application qualifies you to take the Florida State exam.

Requirements for Real Estate Broker
- Have an active Real Estate Salesperson License for at least 1 year
- Complete and pass the state approved 72 hour course
- Pass the state examination with 75% or above
- You do not need to be a Florida resident or U.S. Citizen
Testing Procedures for Real Estate Salesperson License
The state of Florida takes about 4-6 weeks to process applications.
To expedite the process, it is recommended that your application be sent in to the prior to taking our course. However, applications may be sent in during or after the course.
Once you have mailed in your notarized application, fingerprint card and fee of $162, upon approval, you may then write your exam. The exams are administered by an independent test vendor (ASI). ASI has multiple locations in major metropolitan areas. Exams will be administered using a (touch screen) computer. ASI charges an examination fee of $31.50. They will notify you immediately at the exam site of your passing the exam.
School Policies
Purchase of the online course is non-refundable. The student has up to one year to complete the course. This course is not timed, but once the course is completed there is an end of course exam that is timed. The student will have 3 hours to finish the exam. The student has to receive a 70% or higher to pass. In result of a failing grade the student will have to wait 30 days before retaking the exam.
With your new real estate license you can be involved in the listing and selling of residential, commercial, land and time-shares. You can also rent and manage real property.
